Like other big Silicon Valley companies like Intel or Google, have reported slight improvements in the diversity of its workforce, Apple recently submitted its report.

The giant Apple recently sent a report that shows an increase in their employment diversity.

The Cupertino-based company increased to 31% its female workforce, 3% for Asian labor, 1% in African American and 11% Hispanic.

While the company continues with a majority of white employees (55%) diversity has increased.

The latest report also shows a slight improvement in the composition of the technological strength of Apple. About half of the 110 000 employees working in Apple stores are based in Cupertino, California. According to the report, 22% of employees are women technologists compared with 20% was the percentage in 2014.

The number of Asian technologists increased from 23% to 25%, while that of Hispanics and African Americans increased by one percentage point, to 8% and 7% for each group.

Another aspect is that the number of women in leadership positions remained stable at 28%, as the number of Asians at 21%, 6% Hispanic and African American with 3%.

The diversity in the upper echelons of the company remains unchanged.
