Mr. Gaston Vionnet Pérez is an international arbitration attorney with a strong focus on cross-border disputes and the intersection between international dispute resolution and immigration law. Mr. Vionnet Pérez is the lead counsel for the International Arbitration Department, where he defines its strategic direction and integrate arbitration services into the firm’s broader immigration and global mobility practice.
Mr. Vionnet Pérez advises international investors, entrepreneurs, and companies on entering the U.S. market and resolving cross-border disputes, with a particular emphasis on investor and business visas; as well as international commercial and investment arbitration. He is a multilingual attorney with a strong foundation in both civil and common law systems, and he is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. His comparative legal background provides him with a distinct perspective in advising clients operating across multiple jurisdictions and legal frameworks. To date, Mr. Vionnet Pérez has contributed to 12 International matters involving both commercial and investor–state matters; as well as international contract negotiations. These matters have been administered under the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the American Arbitration Association (AAA), among others. Through this experience, he has worked alongside leading practitioners on high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes, developing expertise in case strategy, procedural coordination, and advanced legal research.
Mr. Vionnet Pérez earned his Juris Doctor from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Magna cum Laude), one of Latin America’s most competitive law schools, and has completed a L.L.M. in International Arbitration at the University of Miami, School of Law. He is an active member of the MIAC-CAMACOL, as well as the MIAS association. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
